Jeffrey Marcotte Obituary

Jeffrey C. Marcotte, 50, of Smithfield, died February 24, 2026 at home. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Dee Marcotte of Smithfield.

Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, quahogging, off roading, 4-wheeling, cooking, and the beach. He loved animals, especially rottweilers, letting his daughter color in his tattoos, and spending time with friends and family.

Along with his mother Dee, he is survived by his sisters, Casey Marcotte, of Glocester, and Krystal Shippee, of Killingly; his daughter, Jocelyne Beauchemin of Woonsocket; his nephew and nieces, Dylan Marcotte, Hailey, Lilly and Mariah Shippee and Peyton Laythe.

His funeral will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 starting with a visitation at 9AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, followed by a service at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Old River Rd, Manville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the North Smithfield Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 653, Slatersville, RI 02876. All donations will go directly to saving the life of " Elvira".
